Elect Ryan for the Maryland General Assembly
Fighting for our communities, common-sense solutions, and accountable leadership.
About Ryan
I’m Ryan, and this website is simple because I made it myself- and my platform is simple too.
I’m a cybersecurity professional, Army veteran, and father of two running to represent District 31 in the Maryland House of Delegates. I live in Glen Burnie with my wife, our daughters, and our dogs. This is my community, and I’m fighting to make it work better for working families.
I spent 13 years in the Army, first in logistics where I deployed to Afghanistan, then as an Counterintelligence Special Agent. Now I protect critical systems as a Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management Analyst, working with agencies like DIA, DISA, and CMS. I know how to solve complex problems under pressure and how to spot fraud, waste, and abuse from a mile away.
My platform isn’t complicated: make government work efficiently for the everyday people, invest in programs that benefit the people and deliver measurable results, and stop wasting taxpayer dollars on things that don’t work. I’m a Teddy Roosevelt Democrat- progressive on economics and the environment, libertarian on personal freedom, and relentless about fiscal accountability.
I don’t fit in neat partisan boxes because good policy isn’t about ideology- it’s about what actually works. District 31 deserves a delegate who will fight for results, not rhetoric.

Issues
Economic Opportunity
If you work hard and play by the rules, you should be able to afford to live here. I’ll fight for workforce scholarships in trades and technical fields, support for small businesses that actually create jobs, and housing policies that don’t price out working families. Not everyone needs a four-year degree to succeed- we need plumbers, electricians, and cybersecurity techs just as much as we need lawyers. Let’s invest in pathways that lead to real paychecks.
Energy Independence
Maryland shouldn’t rely on other states or countries for our energy. I’ll push for public-private partnerships to build clean energy infrastructure- solar, wind, nuclear, whatever works. Energy independence means lower costs for families, jobs here at home, and telling foreign oil to kick rocks. This isn’t about ideology. It’s about security, economics, and not being idiots about our future.
Criminal Justice
Locking people up is expensive. Keeping them out of jail is cheaper and smarter. I’ll fight for rehabilitation programs, mental health services, and reentry training that actually work, because reducing recidivism saves money and makes communities safer. We measure success by whether people become productive members of society, not by how many people we warehouse. Public safety and second chances aren’t opposing ideas- they’re both common sense.
